Dinosaur Travel
When you work in the haulage business, you get some
unusual requests now and then.

But they don't come much more unusual than one carried
out recently by Ireland Freight Services. The company had to deliver
a crated Tyrannosaurus Rex (admittedly not a real one!) to the Sheridan
IMAX cinema at the Oddysey.
Ireland Freight laid on a forty footer to carry the
wooden crate containing the beast... and laid on all the trimmings,
including a speaker system which pumped out a recording of a T-Rex's
roar taken from the successful IMAX T-Rex movie... which the vehicle
was being used to promote.
And not surprisingly, the dinosaur didn't take a direct
route to the Odyssey Complex. It took four days of driving around
Greater Belfast to make it to it's final destination!
