HRH Prince Andrew visited IFS Global Logistics' Carrick facility yesterday to officially present the Queen's Award for Enterprise - Andrew spent time viewing the unique web based software which controls end to end global supply chain for local manufacturers - and toured the "Vendorvillage". He then took time out prior to the official award presentation to meet and chat informally to some IFS customers who use the revolutionary VMI system as well as IFS staff and web designers. "The staff were buzzing to be part of such a high profile visit and we are all delighted with the award, especially with all the difficulties providing Global Transportation Solutions in the ever changing world market over the past 2 years, it definitely makes our teams' hard work worthwhile " says a buoyant Group Managing Director, Graeme Hanna.
